I’m Anthony "AntBoogie" Rue II, and for over two decades, I’ve been shaping the world of entertainment through dance, mentorship, and business.

My dance journey started in New York City at the age of 10 when I trained at the National Dance Institute, founded by the legendary Jacques d'Amboise. From there, I went on to attend the prestigious Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts—the real-life "Fame" school.

 

Through a mix of natural talent, relentless training, and determination, I earned recognition in both the dance world and commercial industry. My career has led me to work with icons such as Madonna, Jay-Z, Omarion, Alicia Keys, Mario, 3LW, Ryan Leslie and more. I’ve also worked on major films like Honey, Dreamgirls, Walk Hard, and Notorious B.I.G.

 

But my journey didn’t stop at performing. I wanted to create something bigger than myself—a platform where dancers could train, compete, and thrive. That’s why I founded

Urban Dance League (UDL), a company designed to elevate dancers and give them the structure, competition, and career-building resources they deserve.

Along the way, I also created and trademarked Dancers Are Athletes, a movement that pushes the world to recognize the skill, dedication, and athleticism of dancers. My goal has always been to empower dancers, artists, and creatives—not just through movement, but through business, strategy, and longevity.

 

Now, I help others develop their careers, build sustainable success, and break into the industry with the right mindset and strategy.
